We were proud to design and make this formal dining table and chairs. The table is 72" in diameter, extending to 108" when opened. Racket pinion hardware allows one person to easily open the table by simply pulling one end, and the opposite extends simultaneously. Constructed of hand selected American Black Walnut hardwoods and veneers. The table top has a Maple Burl center insert and a walnut starburst pattern. The table leaves carried the same theme when inserted into the table. The table base is also constructed of solid walnut hardwoods, maple burl and solid ebony hardwood accents. Reeded base detailing and concaved cove edging gave this table extreme elegance. The table top has 20 coats of hand polished polyurethane for a deep lustrous finish. The side and arm chairs were also custom made of solid walnut and upholstered backs and cushions.
