Dan really understood what I wanted in my office for my new work station. I work a lot. I wanted a big girl desk. Oh, I got one! First, the quality of the workstation could not be gotten in any retail store. No way. It was crafted for only me. His team created it and installed it. It is exactly what I had in mind. It is the best purchase I have made in a long time. Now, I am much more comfortable in my office. My environment really affects my attitude, this workstation changed my attitude!

When I was looking to redecorate my living room I wanted to have some lasting pieces that could be passed onto the next generation.  I could have gone to some very nice brand name places and I have shopped in many of them and been pleased.  This time I wanted something a little more unique.  My relationship with Zongkers Custom Furniture and Cabinetry came out of a chance meeting with Dan Zongkers at a bar!  Well, a bar Zongkers had built.  I was impressed.  Becoming fast friends with Dan, Dennis and the rest of the crew I knew I wanted a one-of-a-kind piece.  Dan came out to the house, discussed with me what I wanted, provided designs and gave me a quote.

Dennis drew up the engineering drawings, husband was impressed and we were off and running.  You have to visit their shop and meet the crew to appreciate the craftsmanship.  From start to finish I was involved in the process.  I now have this amazing TV/curio cabinet that disguises that massive TV that can take over a room.  I push the remote, down it goes and I have this gorgeous piece of furniture that warms up the entire space.  I couldn't be happier � the hub likes it too!  We even added an additional matching end table to house all of his remotes. 

I can't recommend Zongkers Custom Furniture strong enough.  Thanks for a fun experience and now moving into the next room of the house, I have a few ideas

For a church, spending money on itself is always a questionable prospects and rightly so. There is always more that can be done in the community with folks who need food, shelter, and a little respect. But when it became necessary for us to replace the chancel furniture in our sanctuary, we wanted something that would last and something that would reflect who we are in a tasteful and genuine way. We feel so blessed to have found Zongkers.
Our congregation is unique in that we have a blend of people from one end of the Christian spectrum to the other. A traditional box-type pulpit would not work with us. We wanted something more open, so it would not look like the speaker is hiding. We also wanted something substantial to show the gravity of our faith, something traditional to honor our roots, and all that presented in a way that would fit our modern
sanctuary.
We could not have been more pleased with the results. Dans  designs were exactly what we were looking for. The solid oak pieces reflect depth and permanence. At the same time they are open and welcoming. The Old World joinery upholds centuries of tradition. And it picks up the unique elements of our sanctuary in a way that feels natural; not contrived. It was such an enjoyable experience to work with Dan, Dennis, Patti, Mike, Curt, and Jeff and all the folks down there (when you can find the place!). They took the time to get to know us, to see our place, to let us poke around the shop and view the work as it was in progress. We are delighted to call the Zongkers people our friends and would highly recommend their work to anyone seeking quality custom woodwork.

I am submitting a letter of recommendation for Zongkers Custom Furniture shop in Omaha.  I have worked with both Dan Zongker and Dennis Zongker for approximately 5 years on many residential and commercial projects in the Omaha and surrounding area. I am an interior designer and have utilized the expertise and workmanship of the Zongkers company on kitchen cabinetry, custom furniture pieces, boardroom tables, and many other special pieces that require a furniture maker of their caliber.

 

Both Dan and Dennis and their staff have always provided me and my clients with excellent customer service, honest pricing and work, and follow-through.  These are the reasons I continue to use Zongkers as my only source of custom woodwork.  Recently, Dan and Dennis designed and built a custom shelf for my foyer project at the ASID Designer Show house 2008 here in Omaha.  They generously donated their time and materials for this project and the end result is a beautifully simple piece that suits the space.

   Zongkers designed and constructed my new dining room table for me - a gorgeous pedestal African ribbon striped mahogany with maple burl inset.

They were very pleasant to work with, and had an artistic sensibility about how best to design the table.  Dan asked for pictures of my dining room and adjoining spaces so that the table design would integrate with the room and space.  He presented several different design concepts, and we worked together to refine one concept to fit the space and budget requirements.

They did not seek the commission on the chairs because they felt I could get similar quality for less money by ordering custom chairs from a major furniture manufacturer.  I appreciated their integrity in making this recommendation.  Negotiations were painless, as they did what they could to meet my budget.

The installation was smooth.  The crew was on time, and spent some time carefully assembling the table and leveling it before leaving the premises.

Dan and Dennis gave us a tour of their facility, and were always gracious when we stopped by to check on progress. It was very obvious that their staff takes a lot of pride in their finished product.

I am certainly proud to display the finished product in my own home.

   My wife Debbie and I built our new home in 1996.  It is a very unique home that we designed and built after much research and planning.  We were impressed with Zongkers from the start and contracted with them to build the entertainment center in our family room.  We were so happy with it that we have come back to them for several other projects, including an entertainment center / display cabinet and nightstand in the master bedroom, a display cabinet / entertainment center in the basement, and a built in desk and display cabinet in our sons bedroom. 

We also contracted with Zongkers to build all of the furniture in our dining room including our dining room table and three other built-in storage and display pieces. Everything turned out great and we are very happy with each project. 

Over the years, we have developed a high level of confidence in the quality of their work.  In our experience, Zongkers has always delivered what they have promised and at a reasonable price.  Dan and Dennis have been personally involved in each of our  projects and we have found them to be easy and fun to work with.  They also are creative and bring great ideas to each project.

   We got the furniture all up and running a week ago today...cable and stuff connected...and I've now lived with it all for a week. I love it. And my husband does too. He doesn't really watch TV in bed like I do but we both love the look of the room.

 

 The console and end tables really serve to enclose the bed and the room just looks much cleaner in style and very sophisticated. Not too crowded either. And I feel like a queen with my very cool TV.

 

Just wanted you to know that you guys did an outstanding job on all of it.
