| We designed a full stage of liturgical furniture for the Presbyterian Church
of the Masters. The unique and original designs compliment the Jerusalem
style cross behind and the large timber beams across the ceiling...bringing
an old world feel. The pulpit, lectern, communion table and candle stands are made of solid red oak hardwood with walnut hardwood inlays for the crosses, wedge joinery on the legs and mortised joinery adds that special touch to the final design. |

Dear Zongkers,
For a church, spending money on itself is always a questionable prospect—and rightly so. There is always more that can be done in the community with folks who need food, shelter, and a little respect. But when it became necessary for us to replace the chancel furniture in our sanctuary, we wanted something that would last and something that would reflect who we are in a tasteful and genuine way. We feel so blessed to have found Zongkers.
Our congregation is unique in that we have a blend of people
from one end of the Christian spectrum to the other. A
traditional box-type pulpit would not work with us. We wanted
something more open, so it would not look like the speaker is
“hiding.” We also wanted something substantial to show the
gravity of our faith, something traditional to honor our roots,
and all that presented in a way that would fit our modern
sanctuary.
We could not have been more pleased with the results. Dan’s
designs were exactly what we were looking for. The solid oak
pieces reflect depth and permanence. At the same time they are
open and welcoming. The “Old World” joinery upholds centuries of
tradition. And it picks up the unique elements of our sanctuary
in a way that feels natural; not contrived. It was such an
enjoyable experience to work with Dan, Dennis, Patti, Mike,
Curt, and Jeff and all the folks down there (when you can find
the place!). They took the time to get to know us, to see our
place, to let us poke around the shop and view the work as it
was in progress. We are delighted to call the Zongkers people
our friends and would highly recommend their work to anyone
seeking quality custom woodwork.
Thanks so much to the whole team! Blessings, Pastor John Presbyterian Church of the Masters/ Omaha, Nebraska To see more testimonials |
