Zongkers Custom Kitchens - Our Process

Understanding your new kitchen not only needs to compliment your taste and lifestyle, but also needs to accommodate today's appliances and overall function. Our goal is to create a space that blends your ideas and lifestyle while working within your budget.

Taking the same approach as we do with our custom furniture, design assistance is part of the project. This is where we roll up our sleeves and work with you directly on the function and the style of the kitchen.

After the initial design stages are completed, your kitchen then enters the engineering stages. This is where we literally construct the entire kitchen on paper. Providing complete material lists, detailing and dimensions. This extensive procedure is necessary to assure everything fits properly and is exactly to your liking. Small details, such as drawer space, appliance accommodations, and utility storage. We'll sit down with you and walk through each drawing, explaining everything in detail. Your approval will be required prior to fabrication.

The fabrication is performed by our furniture artisans. The same detailing and craftsmanship expected in our high end custom furniture, will now be implemented into your kitchen cabinetry. Our craftsmen take extreme pride in their work.

All the finishing is done within our facility. saving the mess and time of onsite field finishing. Custom stain colors, color matches and faux finishes are available. Samples will be submitted for your approval during the fabrication period.

Final stage is the installation. All installation is done by the same craftsmen whom built your cabinetry. This assures you everything is installed with the same detailing the craftsmen put into each cabinet. Countertops, lighting and minor construction are included.

When finished, you'll enjoy the kitchen of your dreams. Everything complete....right down to the last detail.
