A 4-post King-size bed with an Oriental flair to the design. The posts represent bundles of reeds tapering to a hand turned finial on top. The head board carries the reversed arch commonly seen in oriental furniture designs. Constructed of Hard Maple hardwoods with hand selected Maple Burl veneer inlays on the rails, headboard and footboard. The Maple Burl grain patterns were selected from book matched veneer and match throughout the bed. The rails attach to the head and foot boards with hidden cam-bolts for strength. Detailing throughout this piece created a beautiful poster bed.
